Brief: Design a new product collection for Pink Planks across grass weaves, glasswares, ceramics, furniture and homestyle accessories.
The name 'shibori' is derived from the Japanese word “shiboru” meaning to wring, squeeze or press manually which produces a number of different patterns on fabric.
As Rose Quartz is a crystal, so to show its texture we tried using Shibori technique and to add an essence of flamingo we used its colour palette.

We began by researching Pink Plank's competitive brands and the things they produce. Then note the words connected to Pink. We decided on the rose quartz as our theme and created a moodboard with it. To create the colour palette, colours from the real photographs of rose quartz were taken, and we created prototypes of cushion covers using our ideas.

Rose quartz is a symbol of earthiness, beauty, love, and protection. Additionally, it offers serenity and relaxation, which is consistent with the brand's concept. The pink colour, which represents empathy, sensitivity, gentleness, and nurturing, provides the essence of pink planks.
